I love taking in a show or a movie when I knit. The time (and stitches) fly by and it’s visually entertaining when your project is a lot of the same stitch with not a lot of variety. However, sometimes turning off the visual stimulation does just that same, and in fact it seems to make listening to a podcast, music, whatever more enjoyable. It’s a bit like when you’re driving and listening—you take it all in because you have nothing else to do but listen since your eyes, hands (on the steering wheel or stick shift only, please!), and feet are so busy.
So here is something to knit by. A song by Nickel Creek that I have always loved and that recently came across my Pandora feed, sending me into a much needed “knitlaxation”(<-You heard it here first!).
